Boston Wild and Scenic Film Festival and EcoFest
Bostonians! There is a fun event happening this March 31st! The Wild and Scenic Film Festival sponsored by ‘e’ inc. will take place at the Atlantic Wharf’s Waterfront Square (290 Congress Street). The EcoFest activities are free and the admission to all films is just $5. It’s great if you’re in the city and worth a short drive if you live in the suburbs. The Finale in the evening is a special event that costs $40 to attend.
There will be a lot of fun activities including an Eco Marketplace, make your own puppet, create a sustainable home from recycled materials, you can also visit the BSA (Boston Society of Architects) Museum on Sustainable Cities. The film theater will feature a kids’ matinee and two series of short films from around the world ($5). The evening (ticketed event $40) is filled with delicious locavore surprises from local restaurants and much more, check out the detailed schedule for more details!
This is the largest environmental film festival in the United States, check out the details on the films. I’m most interested in the sustainable food, but I don’t think I’ll make it to The Finale. I hope you can!
